Hello, and welcome to the Nancy Shotts State Farm Agent office in Petaluma, CA. As a longtime resident of this beautiful city and your local State Farm agent since 1997, I’m proud to serve my Good Neighbors in the Sonoma County community. We are licensed in both California and Oregon and work with many people from Petaluma, Penngrove, Cotati, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Sonoma, Healdsburg, Bodega Bay, and other nearby cities and towns.

With State Farm experience dating back to 1988, I bring decades of experience helping people protect what they love most with a wide range of insurance services. Even beyond the office, I’m passionate about giving back to the community that has given so much to me. I’m a member and former President of the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce, and I’ve served on the boards of several local organizations, including the Petaluma Boys and Girls Club, the American Red Cross of Sonoma & Mendocino, and the Rotary Club of Petaluma.

When I’m not busy serving my community, you might find me dancing, working out, gardening, hiking, or relaxing on the beautiful beaches of California. I’m the proud mom of three grown children and one fur baby, a flat-coated retriever named Rolo. My husband, Randy, and my son, Grant, are a part of my State Farm team. Ian Foust is a local Petaluman and is my Assistant Office Manager. Ian has his California & Oregon property, casualty, life, health and pet insurance licenses. Jakob Caudill was hired in 2024 as an Office Representative that has earned his California and Oregon property, casualty, life and health insurance licenses. Jakob was born, raised and educated in Sonoma County. In 2025, Nicholas Straw joined our Team and is concurrently attending the SRJC while working with Team Shotts. Nicholas is licensed in CA and OR for property and casualty, life and health, and pet insurance. Grant Koenitzer has been with Team Shotts since 2024. A recent college graduate with his Bachelor of Science in Business, Grant is licensed in CA and OR for property, casualty,life,health and pet insurance. All licensed Team members are able to assist you in creating your own personal price plan.
